Look! A post!

Well hello there.
Long time no blog, eh?
Indeed.

A few updates on my life just in case y'all are interested.
I'm currently in the longest relationship I've been in with this handsome young fellow:

He's a cutie, huh? It's kind of a big deal for me. been over a year and half, which may not be long for some people but it is for me. He's pretty special and currently over-working himself in two part time jobs and school. I'm sure I'll write more about him later.

I've inherited what is possibly the cutest dog in the world.

He has a moo-stache in this picture. I was never really a small dog person. I'd ooh and awe over them if i passed one on the street but I grew up with 50-60 pound shedding monsters. He's a Yorkshire Terrier named Sid Vicious. A member of a pack of three.

The terrierists. Now, if you don't know, Yorkies are little tiny yappy demons. They are the classic tiny dog; huge Napoleon complexes, yappy little annoying voices, thinks you are their playground to walk on whenever they please. But Sid's different. Ok, no he's not. He's an annoying little bastard, but at least he doesn't bark in your face. I've managed to break him of the barking part. He's a spunky little guy who actually isn't much like a yorkie at all, unlike his parents. The tiny one is his mom. 

He's actually a registered service dog. 

I'm working as a substitute teacher for the Fairfax County employee before and after school daycare, School Age Child Care. It's elementary age school children and I really enjoy it. It's made me consider very strongly a long term career in child care. I really enjoy it and find it rewarding to be able to shape little humans. I would honestly really enjoy helping under-privileged youth at some point if not for the long term. Right now I'm sticking with this because it's a great job I really enjoy, it's good money and it's easy to move up and potentially become a real teacher within just a few years. I'll have to get a few education courses under my belt but that's no problem. 

That's all for now. I'm sure there's more boring life shit you'd LOVE to read about but I'm hoping to actually start blogging/doing videos again. How many times have I said that? Psh. whatever.
